Dear EBM Tools Listserve participants- I received this inquiry about EBM/EAFM resources for children. The EBM Tools Network hasn't dealt with materials for children, and I was wondering if any of you knew of any resources that would be helpful to Eny? Please reply to her directly at <mailto: >. Best wishes, Sarah

Subject: Question re. EBM concept/tools for school children

Dear Sarah,

Greetings from Jakarta!

I am writing to ask if there is any tools that described about EBM and/or EAFM (Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management) for children embedded within your website (http://www.ebmtools.org/).

I tried to search with key words: "EBM for school curriculum", "EBM + school children", but could not find anything.

I am currently working at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Indonesia Marine Program, with specific portfolio on "Marine and Fisheries Policy" that put emphasis on EAFM and I would like to see the concept of EAFM be translated to our future generations, i.e., the children, in a simple but effective way, and be disseminated at local levels and/or be inputted into the local school curricula.

If your network has tools and materials that have developed this line of products, it would be great to have those shared as well, so that we can tailor it to our needs and cases in Indonesia.

I am cc-ing this email to Ms. Tri Soekirman, our point of contact for communication at TNC Indonesia Marine Program.

Thank you very much for reading this email, Sarah, and I look forward to hear from you back at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely yours,

Eny
